Store Policies & Returns

Whether you're here to draft, roll dice, hunt for back issues, or just hang out — here's what you need to know to keep the good times rolling.

Our goal is to make The POP! Shop a welcoming, entertaining space for everyone — players, collectors, readers, and hobbyists of all kinds. To keep the vibe right and the games running smoothly, we ask all guests to familiarize themselves with our house rules before stepping up to the counter or sitting down at the table.

1 Code of Conduct

  • The PG-13 Rule We're a family-friendly establishment, and we'd like to stay that way. Please keep your language, behavior, and conversation topics at a PG-13 level. Highly charged, aggressively explicit, or disruptive discussions aren't a great fit for a shared space — if your behavior is making the room uncomfortable for others, our staff will ask you to tone it down or step outside.
  • Hygiene & Cleanliness Tabletop gaming is a close-quarters activity. Out of respect for the person sitting across from you, we require a reasonable standard of personal hygiene. If body odor or cleanliness becomes a distraction to the room, our staff reserves the right to discreetly ask you to head home and come back another day.
  • Appropriate Attire Shoes and shirts are required at all times. Please make sure your clothing provides adequate coverage for a public setting — including when seated at the gaming tables or bending down to pick up those dice that rolled under the table.
  • Sportsmanship Bad beats happen. The dice don't always cooperate, and sometimes you get game-one'd by a deck you've never seen before. That's part of the hobby. What won't be tolerated is aggressive behavior, cheating, intimidation, or harassment of any kind. Violations will result in immediate removal from the event and the store — no exceptions.
  • Personal Property The POP! Shop is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Please keep an eye on your decks, trade binders, bags, and coats. If you find something that's been left behind, please turn it in to the front counter and we'll hold it in our Lost & Found.
A note from management: The POP! Shop reserves the right to refuse service or revoke playing privileges for anyone who violates these guidelines or disrupts the community atmosphere. We take this seriously because the community is worth protecting.

2 Returns & Exchanges

  • Sealed Product Unopened, undamaged sealed products — including board games, sealed TCG product, and supplies — may be returned within 3 days of purchase for store credit or exchange. You'll need your original receipt or the purchase on file on your POP! Shop Account.
  • TCG Singles All sales on single cards are final. The trading card market moves fast and values shift daily, so please take a moment to inspect your singles for condition before completing your purchase. Our staff are happy to answer any questions before the sale is done.
  • Comic Books New comics and back issues are final sale. As with singles, please give them a look before you walk out — we want you to be happy with what you're taking home.
  • Defective Items If you open a sealed item and find it's missing pieces or has a manufacturer defect, bring it back within 3 days with your receipt. We'll do our best to exchange it or help you get in touch with the manufacturer for a replacement.

3 Event Policies & In-Store Holds

  • Event Punctuality Tournaments and drafts fire at their posted times — not "around" their posted times. If you're running late, give us a call and we'll do our best to work with you. That said, late arrivals may receive a round-one loss or be denied entry if the bracket has already fired. Don't be the reason the whole pod is waiting.
  • In-Store Holds Items requested via our website, over the phone, on special order, or through a comic pull list will be held behind the counter for 24 hours. If they haven't been picked up within that window, they'll go back on the sales floor. We'll always do our best to give you a heads-up before that happens.
