The Power of the Dark Time Wizard
The undisputed centerpiece of Beyond the Brave is a reimagining of Joey's iconic arsenal, revolving entirely around the brand-new Dark Time Wizard Spell Card. This card is a celebration of Joey’s bravest clashes against legendary opponents like Rex, Mai, and Odion.
Dark Time Wizard is a Quick-Play Spell Card that forces you to make a classic Joey Wheeler choice: do you play it safe, or do you risk it all?

The Safe Play: The first effect allows you to search your deck and add another card that mentions Dark Time Wizard directly to your hand, giving you immediate access to classic retrains like Jinzo - Energy Shocker or Swiftwind Panther Warrior.

The Risky Play: The second effect leverages Lady Luck by requiring a coin toss. If you win, you can dramatically change the state of the game, proving that sometimes raw courage beats careful planning.
Destiny HEROes and the Depths of Atlantis
Joey isn’t the only brave duelist getting some love in this set. If you are a fan of Aster Phoenix, Beyond the Brave includes reimagined "Destiny HERO" cards. One of the heavy hitters is Destiny HERO - Dreadnought Master, which allows you to search for two Destiny HERO cards while adopting the combined original ATK of all Destiny HERO monsters on your field and in your Graveyard.
The set also takes a deep dive into the ocean with a brand-new Atlantis theme. These new monsters and field spells manipulate the classic Umi mechanics, as all of these new cards (except Atlantis itself) become "Umi" while on the field, giving water-deck players unprecedented summoning power and battlefield control.
