MTG | The Hobbit At-Home Prerelease

Every great journey starts with a single step, or in this case, a single pack! If you aren't able to make it to our in-store events (or if you just prefer playing from the comfort of your own personal Bag End), our MTG x The Hobbit At-Home Prerelease is exactly what you need.

We saw the massive hype our community brought to Tales of Middle-earth, and this return to a classic fantasy setting brings that same incredible energy. Whether you are right here in Sandusky or making the drive over from Norwalk, stop by The POP! Shop during the Prerelease window to pick up your kits and take your share of the treasure home with you.

Gather Your Party at Home

The beauty of the At-Home Prerelease is that you control the board. Crack your packs on your own time, build a sealed deck, or invite some friends over for a private draft night. While we aren't officially running the Two-Headed Giant Commander format in the store for this set, an at-home kit is the perfect excuse to test out a casual 2HG pod at your own kitchen table.

Let us help you build up a hoard of Treasure tokens, test out the returning Adventure mechanics, and hunt for the incredibly rare Gleaming Gold Smaug, the Magnificent! We are your first chance to get your hands on the new Dwarven synergies before the global tabletop release.
